Problem

A company with an outdated website wanted to celebrate its 20-year anniversary with an updated logo and website. 

Solution

Create a modern logo, accessible website, and other collateral that look great together and support the brand. 

Backstory 

Senior Risk specializes in risk management for senior services companies. Its original, hand-drawn logo featured a burgundy heraldic shield with a yellow rose. Its website looked outdated, had broken navigation, and was not 508 compliant. It lacked branded templates for presentations and reports. The owner requested everything be easy for him to use and update. 

Approach

Write Design Group worked with Senior Risk to identify brand characteristics: compassionate, practical, and prudent. WDG defined and documented brand attributes, including colors and fonts, and redesigned the logo for high and low resolution and so that it can celebrate the company’s 20-year milestone. WDG created a branded, one-page website as a placeholder and while developing the full site and other brand collateral, which included: 

  • Video conference backgrounds 

  • PowerPoint presentation template 

  • Word template for reports 

Conclusion 

WDG worked closely with the owner to understand the company’s mission, vision, and values. WDG then created an accessible website and brand collateral that reflected the personality of Senior Risk.
